Nelvana increases licensing partners and markets for Shopkins

The firm is extending its licensing programe for the collectables brand to Russia, the Middle East and Scandinavia.

Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Enterprises has extended its licensing programe for Shopkins to fans in Russia, the Middle East and Scandinavia.

Nelvana will roll out new Shopkins merchandise to Russia consumers via Megalicense International with the help of new licensees including ST Origami for board games, art and crafts, AST Publishing for magazines, Perfetti for chocolate balls and more.

Meanwhile, in the Middle East the firm has tapped Developing Dreamz for stationery, MEI for events and meet and greets and more.

“Shopkins is an ever-expanding global sensation and we’re thrilled to extend its reach even further with incredible new partners in three major international markets,” said Antoine Erligmann, head of Nelvana Enterprises EMEA.

“As consumer enthusiasm for the brand continues to flourish, we’re delighted to be working with world-class licensees to bring this highly-sought-after property to even more fans everywhere.”

In addition, Ravensburger will expand its puzzle and game coverage to Scandinavia, while Proxy will continue as Nelvana’s toy distributor in Scandinavia.
