Lindsay Martinez arrives to build firm through licensing, retail and new property ventures.
American Greetings Properties has appointed former United Media and Hit exec, Lindsay Martinez as director of licensing and business development.
Martinez will direct the building of AGP brands such as Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake through new and existing licensing and retail strategies and work to launch new properties.
She will be based in the firm's New York offices and will report to VP of global licensing, Carla Silva.
"Lindsay is a true heavyweight in the kid's entertainment industry with a diverse and proven track record," said Silva. "We are very excited to have Lindsay back on our team here at American Greetings as we embark on new and exciting ventures with our brands."
Martinez previously worked at AGP as director of marketing for Holly Hobbie, Madballs and new brands from 2006 to 2008.
She has also held roles at United Media, Beanstalk and Hit Entertainment and, most recently, was VP of brand management and marketing at Chorion.
