Extensive TV advertising and promotions help the retro character go worldwide.

41 Entertainment has granted a new apparel licence for France, including French-speaking Belgium and Monaco, as well as new TV rights to Spain.

The new French deal with Sun City will see children's and adult nightwear, loungewear, underwear, leisurewear and more launch for the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures property.

41E has already granted a US apparel licence to Hybrid, a Canadian licence to JCORP, a UK licence to Blues Clothing and an Italian licence to Italian Brands.

Allen Bohbot, CEO of 41E, said: "Sun City is a great addition to our apparel partners throughout the world, and we expect to name a number of additional licences before the Las Vegas Licensing Expo in June."

Meanwhile, the retro arcade game character prepares to take to TV in Spain, as 41E grant free TV rights to Clan TV and Pay TV rights to Canal Panda for the Ghostly Adventures property.

The new TV series is set to broadcast in summer 2013 on Canal Panda and in January 2014 for Clan.

Bohot said: "We are very pleased with this broadcast exposure in Spain for the second half of this year into spring 2014.

"We know that kids will love the show and we plan on extensive advertising and promotional support at launch and throughout [its time on air]."

41e and its Australian agent, Gaffney Licensing, also announced they have granted the textile licence to Legend Holdings for Australia and New Zealand, for the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures brand.

Legend has been designing and wholesaling decorative bed covers, accessories, pillows, quilts and sheeting coordinates since 1991.

41e has also granted the North American rights for the domestic category to Jay Franco.
