Former Turner Broadcasting exec, Tina McCann moves over to children's TV network.
Kids broadcaster Nickelodeon has hired Turner's chief content officer to lead its UK operation.
Tina McCann was responsible for managing development and acquisitions for Turner's Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito brands, as well as handling all central creative and franchise management.
She will join Nickelodeon UK on May 10th, assuming overall responsibility for the network's UK operations and brands.
"I'm delighted to be given this opportunity to lead the UK business, and excited to be working with such a talented team," McCann said. "I have long admired Nick's innovative content and iconic brands and look forward to being part of this dynamic orange world."
In addition, Andy Goodhand will take on the role of senior VP, strategy and planning director, reporting to McCann.
