Nickelodeon offers fans chance to pitch ideas at San Diego Comic Con

For the first time, the network is hosting a pitching session for animated comedy ideas at this year's Comic Con.

Nickelodeon is heading to San Diego to offer Comic Con fans talent-driven panels and the chance to pitch animated project ideas.

For the first time, the network will hold an open call during the event, with Nick’s animation development team on site as part of its global Animated Shorts Programme.

Nickelodeon’s booth will also feature numerous fan activations including a voice recording room where fans can lend their own voices to select scenes from popular Nick TV shows, reports Action Figure Insider.

A fan art competition and autograph signings with Tom Kenny, Sean Astin and more will also take place.

And if that wasn’t enough for his year’s comic fans, the network will also present four panels, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, offering an in depth look at the creation of the current series and talk to its voice talent, including Seth Green.

A host of character appearances from the Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick star and Power Rangers Megaforce will also take place.
