PopCap Games launches website with Treehouse Brand Stores; toys and more on offer.

Digital games maker PopCap has opened a Plants vs Zombies web store full of licensed goods based on the hit game.

Customers can purchase clothing, art, accessories and toys from the website, www.pvzstore.com, which has US and European delivery options.

PopCap partnered with Treehouse Brand Stores to create the online store for fans of the million-selling downloadable game. Merchandise includes T-shirts, plush toys, hats, lunchboxes, mugs and limited merchandise from licensors such as calendars and Pop Figures.

“We’re excited to give our fans access to exclusive Plants vs. Zombies merchandise that they can only find at PvZStore.com,” said Brennan Townley, director of brand licensing at PopCap Games.

“We’ve worked closely with Treehouse, known for its innovative product design, global distribution and excellent customer service, to create a best-in-class online retail experience that will carry everything from plush toys and apparel to limited edition art, with new offerings being added on an ongoing basis.”

Plants vs Zombies made its name on iPhone and went on to hit other games platforms including DS, Xbox 360 and more.

PopCap Games is a division of video game publishing giant EA.
