Fans can now engage with the pre-school character in a new way, says Ideas at Work.

Ideas at Work is continuing to push on with its licensing plans, developing a new Augmented Reality app based on pre-school series, Olly the Little White Van.

The new app enables iPad and iPhone users to take Olly into their world, driving the white van into bedrooms, schools or even the street where they live.

The idea behind the app can be likened to a virtual remote control, enabling kids to take Olly into real-life destinations in an engaging and entertaining way.

"We know that children love great stories and great characters, whether it be through television, printed books or a touchscreen," said Henry Becket, founder of Ideas at Work. "The Olly Augmented Reality app - we think the first for the pre-school age - is a great way of engaging Olly fans and further expands our licensing and social media programmes."

The Olly AR app can be downloaded from iTunes and retails for £2.99.
