One Direction headphones coming from Jazwares

Multi-territory licence also includes earbuds, speakers, walkie talkies and more.

US toy maker and licensed consumer electronics specialist Jazwares has signed up One Direction.

Set to hit shelves this autumn will be a range of 1D branded headphones, speakers, microphones, ear buds, walkie talkies, alarm clocks, boom boxes, a karaoke machine and more.

The product will be available in the UK, US, Latin America, Ireland, Canada.

"With more than three million Twitter followers and a debut album that has gone gold and platinum across the globe, it’s clear that the guys from One Direction are superstars that tween and teen fans can’t get enough of," said Laura Zebersky, executive vice president sales, Jazwares.

"We are thrilled to add One Direction to our portfolio, and look forward to developing our program with the band to bring personal and innovative electronics to their millions of fans."

The group's debut album Up All Night entered both the Canada and the US Billboard 200 charts at number one with over 176,000 copies sold, making them the first British group ever to enter the charts at number in the US with a debut album.
