The brand from Shepperton Design Studios has added four new licensees across gifting and apparel including Milltag.
Shepperton Design Studios, the Twickenham-based studio that originated the stormtrooper design for the very first Star Wars movie in 1976 has added a raft of new licensees to continue to develop its offering of branded products.
Among the new brands joining Original Stormtrooper's stable are cycle apparel firm, Millitag (pictured), sock designer Roy Lowe, children's apparel firm Blues Clothing and Kimm and Miller for food gifting.
“We’ve seen astonishing success with the Shepperton Design Studios Original Stormtrooper products, consumers have really taken to the fun, self-deprecating, oddball British humour,” enthused Adam Bass of licensing agency Golden Goose. “We have a new wave of products in the pipeline and we’re especially excited about the soon-to-launch Original Stormtrooper cheeseboard from Thumbs Up UK” added Account Director, Martin Oestreicher.

The Original Stormtrooper brand has remained consistently popular since the first film trilogy broke box office records in the '70s and has continued to be boosted by the new Star Wars cinematic universe from Disney.
