International licensing industry readies for 'most exciting and diverse show ever'.
More than 100 new exhibitors will be on the show floor at this year's Licensing Expo.
In total, there will be close to 400 exhibitors representing more than 5,000 brands at the showcase - which takes place from June 12th to 14th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Newcomers range from Coca-Cola, Cherokee, Billboard and IMG Worldwide through to the US Marines, Von Dutch and Larry the Cable Guy.
In addition, a raft of existing exhibitors are upping their space on the show floor this year. Companies including Activision, Universal Partnerships & Licensing, Seaworld, 4Kids Entertainment, Beanstalk, American Greetings, Fender, Global Icons, Televisa, Brand Central and Licensing Works have all enlarged their booth space.
Businesswoman and former supermodel Kathy Ireland will give the show's keynote address, giving an insight into the principles on which her company was built, business lessons learned along the way and thoughts on the current state of the licensing industry and where it is headed.
"This will be our most exciting, diverse show ever," said Chris DeMoulin, president of licensing for show organiser, Advanstar. "With almost 400 exhibitors representing over 5,000 brands and properties, and attendees from more than 60 countries, the opportunities at Licensing Expo are unlimited.
