Meanwhile, publishing plans from HarperCollins include new formats for summer, as well as movie tie-in titles launching this autumn.
A new collaboration with Royal Canadian Mounted Police will also see co-branded Paddington plush launching in Canada this autumn.
The new Paddington film is scheduled to launch in the US and Canada on December 12th this year and is being distributed by The Weinstein Company. The launch will be supported by a host of promotional partners and will include a Paddington balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Paddington is the first live-action film inspired by Michael Bond’s book series. The hotly anticipated film will feature Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Peter Capaldi and Jim Broadbent.
