Paramount signs deal with GameCo for licensed gambling machines

Mission: Impossible, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Paranormal Activity are heading to casinos.

GameCo has signed a deal with Paramount to launch a line of licensed gambling machines.

The firm is developing a racing game based on Mission: Impossible, a hidden object game themed to Paranormal Activity and a platformer experience adapted from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

“We are always seeking ways to bring our iconic film properties directly to fans,” said LeeAnne Stables, president of worldwide marketing partnerships and licensing for Paramount Pictures.

“These new products bring them to life in classic arcade gameplay formats.”

Rich Maryyanek, head of global business development at GameCo, added: “Each of these properties has a very unique appeal and heritage associated. We are thrilled to work with Paramount and look forward to developing a casino experience that will appeal to gamers of all ages.”
