The beloved children's brand will no longer be managed by the Copyrights Group for the first time in 30 years.
Penguin Random House is bringing beloved children's brand The Snowman back in-house as part of their continued growth strategy, Penguin Ventures will now manage all licensing, consumer products and live events for The Snowman brand across all categories.
“The Copyrights Group has done an incredible job as our licensing agent for The Snowman since 1983 and we owe CEO Nicholas Durbridge and the team a debt of thanks for the care and attention they have shown the property," said Susan Bolsover, head of licensing and consumer products at PRH.

2018 sees the 40th anniversary of the publication of Raymond Briggs’ original picture book The Snowman. Penguin Random House will be celebrating the enduring nature of this classic through a series of collaborations, limited edition product, live events and bespoke publishing.
