Pre-school animation Peg + Cat scoops three Emmys

Animated series awarded Outstanding Pre-School Children's Animation, Outstanding Performer in an Animated Programme and Production Design.

Popular pre-school animation, Peg + Cat has scooped three titles at this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Pre-school Children’s Animation.

The show was also awarded Outstanding Performer in an Animated Programme – handed to Hayley Faith Negrin – and Production Design.

The series only made its debut last autumn when it aired on PBS Kids in the US. Since then it has aired on Treehouse in Canada in March this year and has been licensed by Super RTL , Canal + Family, ABC TV Australia, SVT, YLE, HOP, Mini-Mini, E-Junior and Disney.

Created by Jennifer Oxley and Billy Aronson, Peg + cat follows the adventures of a little girl and her sidekick pet who use mathematics to overcome problems they are faced with.
