Adventures in Pocketville series to broadcast on Boomerang following new deal.

MEG Toys has secured US broadcast for Puppy in my Pocket: Adventures in Pocketville on Boomerang.

The new deal with Cartoon Network sees the expansion of the Adventures in Pocketville relationship with Turner Broadcasting into the US. It is already airing across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Pan-Asia on Turner platforms.

Episodes will begin airing on Boomerang in early 2012.

"We are very pleased with the expansion of our relationship with Cartoon Network into the US and for Puppy in my Pocket: Adventures in Pocketville to air on Boomerang," said Joe Morrison, MEG CEO. "The addition of the powerful reach of Turner Broadcasting in the US will surely make the series a children's broadcasting success worldwide."

Adventures in Pocketville is based on the successful Puppy in my Pocket brand from MEG, and is a co-production between Mondo TV, Giochi Preziosi and MEG.

A toy line based on the series is being distributed in the US by Jakks Pacific and is expected to hit retail in spring 2012.
