Quadruple win for Danilo at National Calendar Awards

Minecraft, Doctor Who and Cheryl Cole add to firm's success.

Danilo Promotions came away from the recent National Calendar Awards with four accolades - taking its total haul to 39 so far.

The tenth annual NCAs were held at The Stationers Hall in London.

The enormous success of the 50th anniversary Dr Who 2014 calendar won the BBC two awards - The Elephant Award, which is the most prestigious of the night, and the 2014 Humour Character award.

Danilo's licensing director, Trevor Jones is pictured accepting one of the awards with Cassie Allen from BBC Worldwide and sponsor Becky Salter of Calendar Club.

In addition, Minecraft won the 'new title' award with its debut official calendar - it out sold every other calendar, apart from One Direction, in the Danilo calendar charts.

Finally, Cheryl Cole 2014 won the best media/retail/glamour/celebrity calendar.
