Iconic children’s property Rainbow is readying for an action-packed 45th anniversary with new products ranges and live events ahead of this Christmas.
First screened on ITV in 1972, Rainbow ran for 19 years, showcasing the antics of George, Bungle and Zippy in a series that has since become a retro classic and a nostalgia hit among adults.
Today, the FremantleMedia Kids and Family brand will be brought back to the retail scene courtesy of a new babywear line from Casa Chicos, launching to Mothercare next year.
In addition, a recent deal with Blues will see the top apparel licensee produce a line of Rainbow themed clothing across baby, kids and adult ranges.
