RHS announces collaboration with fashion retailer Coast

In floral designs inspired by RHS Lindley Library will launch in May

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced that women's contemporary occasionwear brand Coast will be launching a Limited Edition collection of dresses and separates, inspired by the RHS Lindley Library in summer 2017.

The collection will launch in May, in time for the busy high-summer social events season. It will be available in Coast’s top 14 stores, including its Oxford Street flagship and new concept store in Gateshead Metrocentre, and online at coast-stores.com.

The Coast/RHS Limited Edition collection offers eight styles, extending from dramatic floor-length gowns through to modern separates, combining hand-painted techniques with photographic prints.

“Our design team has used the RHS Chelsea Flower Show as a key source of inspiration for many years," explained Neil Hendy, Creative Director at Coast, "so to collaborate with the RHS and gain access to the RHS Lindley Library Collection was something that we were very excited about — and, we’re confident our customers will love this collection.”

Cathy Snow, RHS Licensing Manager, said, “For our first partnership in fashion apparel we wanted to work with a clothing brand able to do justice to the incredible artwork in the RHS Lindley Library. We could not have found a better partner. Coast has designed a wonderful collection of Limited Edition pieces celebrating the beauty of flowers.”
