The Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin is available exclusively at Fortnum & Mason in London.
The RHS has inked a license agreement with craft distiller, Warner Edwards, which will see the RHS logo featured on bottles of Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin.
The RHS-endorsed Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin launched exclusively on September 26th at Fortnum & Mason in London, and has been chosen as Spirit of the Month for October by the department store.
Warner Edwards has also detailed plans to work with the gardeners at RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey, to install beehives in its heather garden.
“This is a very important collaboration – not just because it is a strong addition to the strand of our licensing programme that promotes UK craft businesses, but because of the high-quality product involved, and, of course, because of Warner Edwards’ role in the development of the relocated RHS Garden Wisley heather garden,” said Cathy Snow, licensing manager at the RHS.
Warner Edwards’ gin is part of its Botanical Garden collection of speciality gins, which involves 28 botanicals distilled in a 500-litre copper pot still with pure spring water.
Christina Warner Keogh, partner and co-owner of Warner Edwards Distillery, added: “We are thrilled to be promoting gardening, bee welfare and, of course, craft gin production alongside the RHS. This is a very special gin – and a very special partnership.”
