Firm will initially focus on three core categories for fine porcelain brand.
Danish-based Ink has been appointed as the worldwide agent for Royal Copenhagen in a long-term deal.
Renowned for producing the finest porcelain in the world, Royal Copenhagen is now looking to extend into our sectors through carefully selected partners.
Ink will initially focus on three core categories - kitchen, table and home - looking to extend the brand across key markets of Europe and the Far East.
"We are very privileged to be working with such a strong Danish heritage property as Royal Copenhagen - its incredible history is combined with a contemporary outlook and a cohesive vision for the future, so there is enormous long-term potential," said Ink CEO, Morten Geschwendtner. "We are currently analysing the brand and identifying suitable opportunities so that strategic partner dialogues can take place in the next month, with a view to announcing initial deals before the end of the year."
Mads Ryder, CEO of Royal Copenhagen, added: "As we will continue to be porcelain only, this extension will be through relevant products developed and distributed through partners who are experts within their field."
