Scooby-Doo returns to the stage

New theatre tour with AEG to hit two countries, 38 towns and cities across nine months.

Warner Bros Consumer Products and AEG ThemeStar have revealed that the Scooby-Doo live tour is back next year.

Following the sell-out seasons of 2005 and 2007, a new show - Scooby-Doo and the Pirate Ghost: Live on Stage - has been devised and will open in the Theatre Royal in Norwich on February 17th 2009, in time for the half term holidays.

A tropical island is the scene for Scooby's newest live adventure, with the gang encountering a Pirate Queen and her ghostly crew. Ghostly goings-on and supernatural scenarios mix with physical comedy, music and magical effects.

Tickets range from £10 and can be booked on Scooby's own 24-hour Ticketmaster hotline (0844 844 0009).

Following the Norwich debut, the theatre show will appear in venues in the likes of Cambridge, Wimbledon, Leicester, Birmingham, Manchester, Oxford, Nottingham, Leeds, Dublin, Belfast, London, Truro and Blackpool among others, ending in October 2009.
