New merchandise from Blueprint to join lines from Spearmark, Kinnerton and Gemma at retail.

A raft of new Sonic the Hedgehog merchandise will be hitting retail this autumn.

Blueprint has developed a range of stationery and back to school items, launching in WH Smith, Ryman, Debenhams, Next, Tesco, Morrisons, Hamleys and Toys R Us.

Other products to launch include lunch bags and drinks bottles from Spearmark, greeting cards and partyware from Gemma International, confectionery from Kinnerton and RC vehicles from Zappies.

Spearmark products will be available in TRU and Next, plus Tesco, Morrisons and Debenhams. Meanwhile, Gemma's greeting cards and partyware have already proved popular in Clinton Cards, while TRU, The Entertainer, Asda and WH Smith will launch in the autumn.

Kinnerton is doing a soft launch of two skus, including a Sonic money bank with golden chocolate coins and a tin of marshmallows. Debenhams and Tesco have taken both the items, with more skus in the pipeline for next year.

Finally, Zappies has confirmed listings for the RC vehicles in Tesco, TRU, Amazon and Play.com among others.
