Simon Gresswell named COO of Sanrio GmbH

Under the new appointment, Gresswell will be responsible for Sanrio’s business across EMEA, Oceania, South Africa and India and Mr Men and Little Miss worldwide.

Industry veteran Simon Gresswell has been named COO of Sanrio GmbH, MML and SGA, taking up the post on May 15th 2017.

Under the new appointment, Gresswell will be responsible for Sanrio’s business across EMEA, Oceania, South Africa and India and Mr Men and Little Miss worldwide.

Boasting 25 years of experience in the licensing industry, Gresswell has worked in various roles as licensee, licensor, agent and consultant. He most recently held a senior role as vice president, licensing Europe and international at the global sports, media and fashion agency, WME IMG.

“We are excited to have Simon join our team and build strong relationships with all our licensees and business partners,” said managing directors of Sanrio’s EMEA business, Jiro Kishimura and Ronald Denecke.
