Skelanimals and Target plan autumn retail push

Wide range of seasonal products will see lifestyle brand boosted in-store.

Lifestyle brand Skelanimals and US retailer Target Stores are teaming up for a major retail initiative this autumn.

Nationwide, Target stores will feature custom Skelanimals shops for Halloween, filled with an array of seasonal merchandise including paper party goods, costumes and accessories, treat bags, candy, exclusive plush and toys, home décor, girls' apparel and fashion accessories.

The programme will also see the debut of two exclusive Skelanimals characters - Timmy the Spider and Oliver the Owl. It will be supported by a media campaign which will showcase Skelanimals' first CGI animated short featuring music by indie band Family Force 5.

This will be shown on Target's in-store channels, as well as on the Skelanimals microsite on Target.com.

In addition, Skelanimals has partnered with Mars to offer chocolate candies exclusively through the Target website.
