Former Paramount exec Pamela Harris arrives to bolster the US firm's headcount.
The recently launched entertainment and brand management division of Sun-Mate Corporation, SMC Entertainment has hired Pamela Harris to the role of director of licensing.
Harris (pictured) will be responsible for sales and licensing of SMC's managed brands, including the newly acquired property The Jungle Book.
She will also be charged with developing promotional partnerships and retail programmes, as well as working with SVP of licensing Lisa Streff on overall strategic planning for the company.
Harris previously worked at Paramount Pictures, managing domestic licensing programmes for classic film titles including The Godfather, Grease, Top Gun, Footloose, Flash Dance and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
"Pamela's licensing knowledge and brand management experience will be a tremendous asset in growing SMC's business in the months and years ahead," Streff commented.
