Products based on most watched FX TV show head to bricks and mortar stores worldwide.
Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products is ramping up its Sons of Anarchy merchandise push with products arriving in retail stores.
It already had an online retail program in place for goods based on FX’s most-watched TV show of all time for adults aged 18 to 49 – such as T-shirts, wallets and key chains – now more is heading into bricks and mortar outlets.
The Sons of Anarchy line will now include leather and denim jackets from Pistol Clothing, apparel and accessories from Changes, men’s clothing from LFUSA, jewellery from Salesone, headwear from Concept One, and infant clothing and swimwear from Calhoun Sportswear.
The expanded selection features barware, home décor, diecast motorcycles, games, stationery, novelty and more coming from partners such as Maisto, Rabbit Tanaka, Imagination Games and Pyramid America. The product line can now be found at retailers such as Spencer Gifts, Transworld/FYE, Hastings, Kohl’s, JCPenny and Big & Tall.
In addition, Fox Consumer Products has partnered with Bartels’ Harley Davidson in Los Angeles. The bike maker has created a Sons of Anarchy limited-edition motorcycle. 100 of these bikes will go on sale this autumn.
“The rapid evolution of the Sons of Anarchy retail campaign has mirrored the show’s exploding popularity,” said Jeffrey Godsick, president of Fox Consumer Products.
“We started this campaign in 2010 with an effective online-only campaign and are now going full throttle to connect the right retail partners with the show’s growing and passionate audience.”
