International program sales and licensing team is expanded.
Discovery Communications has revealed a number of new appointments and promotions within its Discovery Enterprises International program sales and licensing group.
"We launched Discovery Enterprises International at MIPTV one year ago, and I am looking forward to returning to the market with a full team in place," said Caleb Weinstein, senior VP at Discovery Enterprises International.
"With proven track records and extensive experience in the international media industry, this expanded team will ensure we are able to super-serve third party clients and maximise sales and franchise opportunities across all regions by streamlining access to Discovery's quality programming and brands."
Holly Roessler has been appointed to the newly created position of director of sales support and marketing. A ten-year Discovery veteran, Roessler most recently served as director of program support.
Elliot Wagner has been promoted to director, private networks and North American program sales, while Fiona Wallace is now director of licensing for the UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In this role, Wallace will direct the sales and distribution of consumer product lines across Discovery's brands and properties in the UK and EMEA. She will develop and manage home video, publishing, interactive, licensing and licensed promotion partnerships. Wallace is based in London and reports to Jo Edwards, VP of licensing.
Finally, Diana Carrizosa has been appointed director of licensing for Latin America and Richard Henson has become director of program sales for Asia Pacific, based in Sydney, Australia.
