Ragdoll Worldwide has appointed Stephen Gould to the newly created position of commercial director.
Gould has a long career history within the licensing business. He has previously held positions at the RDF Media Group (now Zodiak) and was co-MD at 4Kids Entertainment International.
He has also held roles with Kids Industries, Active Licensing Europe and Fox Kids Europe.
He was most recently the principal for brand and licensing consultancy Bear Conran.
Gould takes on the new role immediately, and will report to Ragdoll Worldwide CEO, Mark Hollingsworth.
"I am delighted to join Ragdoll Worldwide at this very exciting, dynamic and transitional time in their impressive history," said Gould. "Few companies have such an enviable pedigree and track record of success, and I am very much looking forward to the opportunity and challenge that lies ahead."
Hollingsworth added: "Stephen brings a varied and extensive knowledge of the licensing, retail and consumer markets, as well as hands-on experience of a broad remit of relevant commercial trading activities.
"He will make a valuable contribution to the business during this key period of growth for Ragdoll brands, as well as expansion and diversification for the core IP business in general."
