Former Hasbro and Hit exec, Lindsay Pearl, joins firm with eye on expanding kids' portfolio.
Target Entertainment has a new director of licensing and children's acquisitions, with former Cartoon Network and Hit exec, Lindsay Pearl, joining the firm.
Pearl will officially start in her new role in June, representing Target at Licensing International.
She will be responsible for acquiring new kids content, while also heading up Target's licensing and merchandising division, which includes the management of the Sony PlayStation portfolio.
Pearl most recently worked at Hasbro as director of international acquisitions and licensing. Prior to this, she was territory manager for Central Eastern Europe, Turkey and Greece at Cartoon Network, and director of business development at Hit Entertainment for EMEA.
"Lindsay has a formidable track record in the children's content business," said Alison Rayson, Target Entertainment's chief executive. "Not only is she a strong sales negotiator, but she also has a talent for acquisitions and brings with her a wealth of experience."
Pearl added: "I'm so delighted to be joining Target at this exciting time of expansion and am keen to start looking for new properties, as well as further exploit the potential of Target's existing portfolio of high quality brands."
