The Point.1888 appointed as brand extension partner for Tangerine Confectionery

‘We are very excited to be working with a collection of brands that we have all grown extremely fond of since childhood,’ says The Point.1888’s Will Stewart.

The Point.1888 has been named the exclusive brand extension partner for Tangerine Confectionery in the UK.

As part of the deal, The Point.1888 will create a range of products for the firm’s wide-spanning brands, including Butterkist, Wham, Fruit Salad, Black Jack, Refreshers, Sherbet Fountain, Dip Dab, Flumps and more.

“As a former confectionery buyer at Woolies I know the Tangerine brands extremely well and the potential within brand extension is phenomenal.”

Russell Tanner, marketing and category management director at Tangerine Confectionery, added: “Extending our brands has become increasingly important at Tangerine Confectionery. For our loyal fans it’s the retro appeal of our confectionery products and branded popcorn that appeals.
