The Wonder Pets wins at Pulcinella Awards

Little Airplane show scoops Best Soundtrack of the Year at Cartoons on the Bay.

Little Airplane Productions' The Wonder Pets has picked up the accolade for Best Soundtrack at the Pulcinella Awards at the Cartoons on the Bay International Television and Multimedia Animation Festival in Italy.

The show - which airs on Nick Jr - follows the adventures of three classroom pets, Linny the Guinea Pig, Ming-Ming Duckling and Turtle Tuck. At the end of the school day, when the kids go home, the pets become singing superheroes.

The Pulcinella Award is the second prize given to The Wonder Pets for its music and complements last year's win of a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Musical Direction and Composition.

"We are truly honoured to receive this award from Cartoons on the Bay," said Josh Selig, president of Little Airplane. "It was a beautiful festival and our hosts could not have been more welcoming. We love making great music for kids and we're so pleased to have our work acknowledged in this way."
