Former Hit and Endemol man to head up commercial development for children's entertainment.
Licensing industry veteran Tim Collins has reappeared at DC Thomson, charged with heading up commercial development for children's entertainment.
Collins will be responsible for the wider development of the company's IP, increasing income and developing greater commercial benefits derived from existing and future titles and third party IP.
He will work closely with head of children's entertainment Frances O'Brien and report to Ben Gray, head of the consumer entertainment business unit.
Collins will also take over management of the licensing, TV, syndication and digital project teams.
As well as Endemol, Collins has also enjoyed stints with Universal Studios, Dreamworks and Hit Entertainment.
