Partners Plus signs up new licensees in Greece and Romania.

The agency has been representing the property since January 2010 in Greece and since earlier this year for Romania and Bulgaria and to date, has signed 12 new deals.

Spicy Effect, a Greek music business, is on board. George Stampolis, head of marketing and business affairs, commented: "We are delighted to enter the licensing business with a very promising and unique property like LazyTown.

"As a company devoted to family entertainment and education, Lazytown is a perfect match for us."

SC Convergent Media has taken on the licence for Meet and Greet events for LazyTown in Romania.

“LazyTown is very happy to have a partner like SC Convergent Media due to the hard work and devotion to the brand. We look forward  working together and establish the success of LazyTown in Romania as well.” said Tina Stathopoulou from Partner Plus.

Finally, LaFollie has signed up to create products including hair accessories, fashion bags, kitchen sets, sunglasses and more for the Greek market.

Meanwhile, Stamion Ioannides has extended its contract with new categories, in Greece, including flip flops, towels, bathing suits, beach bags, T-shirts and hats, which will launch in spring 2012.

Stathopoulou continued: "I am very excited about the future of LazyTown in Greece and the fantastic opportunities the brand continuously opens up. LazyTown is much more than just a TV show and I am honoured to be working with a property that is so dedicated to kids health.

"It is incredible to see firsthand how the children’s attitudes change towards fruits and vegetables and activity when there is superhero Sportacus leading them.”
