The character-based lifestyle brand has appointed Björg Arnardottir to drive international expansion plans.
Icelandic character-based lifestyle brand Tulip has appointed Björg Arnardottir as its new licensing manager, with responsibility for spearheading the growth of the brand’s licensing business at this key stage in its expansion plans.
Arnardottir boasts a strong background in managing international projects and partnerships with responsibilities including managing both financial and promotional activities and will now spearhead the growth of the brand’s licensing business at this key stage in its expansion plans.
In her new role, Arnardottir will work closely with the brand’s existing licensees and licensing agents to develop and coordinate Tulipop’s merchandise and marketing programs in addition to securing new licensing partnerships and opportunities for the Tulipop brand worldwide with an immediate focus to expand the licensing program in Europe in 2018.

Björg’s appointment comes at a key time of expansion for Tulipop as it celebrates the launch of a series of webisodes on a dedicated Tulipop YouTube channel, the opening of the company’s first flagship store in Reykjavik and a growing presence in the US centered on an exclusive retail launch in 300 Hot Topic stores in November 2017.
Founded in 2010, Tulipop now stocks to 300 stores in the US and Europe with products ranging from vinyl figurines and plush to lamps, stationery and tableware.
