US: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame credit cards on the way

The Wildflower Group also signs Opus Label for apparel and LND Neckwear for neckwear.

New York City-based licensing and branding agency The Wildflower Group has secured three new partners for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

UMB CardPartner has signed to launch the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum co-branded Visa credit card, available in five designs.

Music fans can apply online here.

Elsewhere, Opus Label will create a line of apparel for both men and women. The range will include hangtags that allow customers to download songs by Hall of Fame Inductees spanning a range of eras.

The Opus Label line-up lands Q4 2014 at high-end department and specialty stores.

Elsewhere, LND Neckwear will launch a range of ties, bowties, pocket squares, and a four-piece vest set in spring 2015.

“These new products provide us with another mechanism for keeping fans connected to our mission, extending our brand and generating support for all of our cultural and educational activities,” said Brian Kenyon, EVP and CFO for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

Michael Carlisle, principal at The Wildflower Group, added: “Music lovers across North America have been looking for personal ways to connect with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and we’re excited to be working with these amazing companies to provide fans with products and services that enable them to express their love of rock and roll music.

“These licensees and others to come will help grow the Rock Hall brand for generations of music lovers.”
