US: Shout Factory and Hasbro Studios team for new My Little Pony film

Worldwide distribution agreement sealed for Equestria Girls.

Shout Factory and Hasbro Studios and signed a worldwide distribution deal for upcoming animated movie, My Little Pony Equestria Girls.

The new feature-length animation is aiming to introduce a new dimension into the My Little Pony world. The plot follows Twilight Sparkle, who pursues the thief of a crown from the Crystal Empire into an alternate world where she transforms into a teenage girl who must survive her biggest challenge yet... high school.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls is set to hit the home entertainment marketplace and a variety of digital entertainment platforms in North America and international territories later this year.
