New animated adventure series will be supported with toy lines and interactive website.
Spin Master Entertainment has signed a deal to debut Tenkai Knights, a new animated children's show on Cartoon Network this year.
The firm has partnered with japan based Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions to produce the adventure series.
The series follows the misadventures of characters Guren, Ceylan, Chooki and Toxsa who discover an inter-dimensional portal. Pulled through, they emerge from the other side of the portal as Bravenwolf, tributon, Lydenor and Valorn, the Tenkai Knights.
Spin Master Entertainment's executive producer of the series, Jennifer Dodge, said: "We're so excited for Tenkai Knights to be launching on Cartoon Network.
"Together with ShoPro, we plan to tell great stories about the Tenkai Knights and their adventures."
Akira Fujita, ShoPro's executive director, said: "We are thrilled to be working with Spin Master.
"The partnership of our two companies fuses leading innovation with great storytelling. We are excited to now introduce Tenkai Knights to children around the world."
Tenkai Knights will feature 52 episodes, webisodes, an interactive website and an extensive toy line.
