The new flavour based on JK Rowling's book series is made from half buttercream ice cream, half butterscotch ice cream.
Pennsylvania-based ice cream company Yuengling's is bringing the unique taste of Butterbeer ice cream to stores across the country, it has been announced.
The flavour, which is made from half buttercream ice cream, half butterscotch ice cream, and twisted with a butterscotch swirl, has previously been available at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida as well as the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, but this marks the first time fans have been able to enjoy the wizarding treat at home.
"We are always looking for ways to inspire our fans and spark creativity,” David Yuengling, president of Yuengling’s Ice Cream said in a statement. “We hope we made J.K. Rowling proud with this flavor.”
In an interesting twist, Dick Yuengling who runs the firm's brewery is an outspoken Donald Trump supporter, a figure that Rowling has denounced many times on social media.
