VIMN appoints Peter Flamman as new head of youth and music and family and kids brands

In the new role, Flamman will manage the youth and music and the kids and family brand portfolios, including MTV and Nickelodeon across Benelux, GSA, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Malta and Turkey as well as Africa and the Middle East.

Viacom International Media Networks has named Peter Flamman as its senior vice president of youth and music and kids and family brands for its Southern and Western Europe, Africa and Middle East cluster.

In the new role, Flamman will manage the youth and music and the kids and family brand portfolios, including MTV and Nickelodeon across Benelux, GSA, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Malta and Turkey as well as Africa and the Middle East.

He will oversee original content development and production, content acquisitions, linear and multiplatform scheduling, content localisation and operations, talent and artist management, marketing and communications.

Flamman is based in Madrid and reports to Raffaele Annecchino, president and managing director of VIMN SWEMEA.

“Pete’s years of industry experience and great track record make him an excellent fit for the team and the perfect choice to lead these brands forward,” said Annecchino.

Flamman added: “I am delighted to be leading such diverse and talented teams and I am looking forward to building on our successful glocal strategy for both of these key brand portfolios across the cluster.”

Flamman joined VIMN in September 2015 as senior vice president brands for the North cluster. Prior to joining he worked at Turner Broadcasting for almost 15 years in London in a variety of roles including SVP and general manager for Northern Europe and UK, SVP and managing director of kids brands for EMEA and SVP and COO for Turner EMEA.
