Vogue joins RSPCA programme

Lunch bags and sports bottles to hit retail from June.

Animal welfare charity, the RSPCA has secured a deal with Vogue International for a line of branded lunch bags and sports bottles for children.

The products - which were officially unveiled at Spring Fair - will be available in a variety of bright colours and will be illustrated with animal photographs from the RSPCA's library. There will be a selection of animals to suit all tastes, from the cuddly to the creepy, the lively to laidback. The charity's logo will also be featured and its work promoted on all packaging.

Vogue will launch the lines at retail from June.

"These gifts are both fun and useful, with the added attractions of appealing animal-based designs and a positive message of support for an important cause," said Chris Thompson, MD of Vogue International. "We are delighted to have the opportunity to develop this range of children's gifts alongside the RSPCA."

Cathy Snow, trading manager at the RSPCA, added: "These products are not only colourful and practical, but high quality, an essential feature of all licensed items using the RSPCA name. In addition, of course, sales of the lunch bags and sports bottles will boost funds that allow us to continue helping animals in England and Wales."
