Search engine presence is key part of 20th anniversary celebrations for Aardman brand.
Aardman's Wallace and Gromit characters celebrated their 20th anniversary by taking over the famous Google 'doodle' as part of a raft of activities.
The duo's first film - A Grand Day Out - premiered in Bristol on November 4th 1989. This week, all four short films were released on one DVD for the first time by 2Entertain.
In addition, the popular characters are featuring in a special edition of The Beano this week, with A Grand Day Out also currently being promoted on iTunes for 99p.
This week also marks the launch of Aardman's official e-commerce site. This stocks the full range of Wallace and Gromit products from various licensees including Harrops, Wow Stuff, Esdevium Games and Rainbow Designs. Telltale Games is also offering fans an episode of its Grand Adventures series free until November 8th.
Finally, Wallace and Gromit will be starring in a Marks & Spencer Christmas TV ad campaign, alongside a host of other celebrities.
