Winx Club kicks off first ever Indonesian live event

Christmas Magix will offer fans in Indonesia the chance to dance, play games and meet their favourite characters from the popular Winx Club brand

Winx Club is aiming to treat fans in Indonesia this season as the Christmas Magix Live Winx Club show takes to the city of Surabaya's Ciputra World shopping mall.

Running from December 19th until January 5th next year, the event marks the first ever live Winx Club in Indonesia.

The Christmas Magix event will feature Winx Club stage performances, as well as character meet and greet opportunities and games, dancing, fashion and colouring competitions.

As well as the live shows, there will be a makeover booth featuring nail treatments and makeup, along side a photo booth allowing fans to dress up as their favourite Winx Club characters.

Face painting, bracelet making and temporary tattoos will all also be available, joined by a Winx Club merchandise area.

'Although this is the first time Indonesian fans have been treated to a live Winx Club event, they have been a huge success in other parts of the world and it seems certain this will be replicated in Indonesia,' read a statement from Winx Club.

Developed by European animation studio, Rainbow, Winx Club follows the adventures of a group of young fairies as they combine school life with battling evil.

The brand has already seen success in America, Russia and Italy, with over 15 million viewers each day over 115 broadcasters worldwide.
