Wizards vs Aliens makes US debut

Kids' show from producers of Doctor Who will run weekly on Hub Network.

Popular UK children's series Wizard vs Aliens will make its US debut on Hub Network on Saturday, June 1st.

The new episodes from the co-creators of Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Chronicles will run weekly on the network.

Produced by BBC Wales and FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment, the series has seen success in the UK as the number one show in its time slot for children aged six to 15.

Additionally, it was the second highest-rated series on CBBC for children aged four and upwards and women aged 16 plus.

Starring British actors Scott Haran (Upstairs Downstairs) and Percelle Ascott (Mandem on the Wall) Wizards vs Aliens follows the adventures of Tom Clarke - a secret wizard - who must save the world from an invading alien race.

Additionally, the series boasts the acting talents of Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones), Michael Higgs (Eastenders) and the voice of Brian Blessed.
