The sequel to Disney's 2012 animated feature has officially been titled Ralph Breaks the Internet.
Disney's sequel to its 2012 smash hit Wreck-It Ralph has officially been titled Ralph Breaks the Internet.
Disney revealed the title at this year's CinemaCon, and confirmed that Jane Lynch (Sergeant Calhoun) and Jack McBrayer (Fix-it Felix) would be returning along with John C.Reilly as Ralph and Sarah Silverman as Vanellope von Schweetz.
Directors Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, will return for the sequel as well as producer Clark Spencer. The new title seems to confirm rumours that the new film will explore the world of online gaming, in a similar fashion to how the first film explored the world of arcade games.
“We’re so excited to be working with Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz, Fix-It Felix and Sergeant Calhoun again," said Johnston in a statement, "and we have new characters we look forward to unveiling. At the centre of this film, as in the first one, is the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope, two once-outcasts, who in each other, found true friendship.”
Ralph Breaks the Internet is currently slated to hit theatres on March 9th 2018.
