Yo Gabba Gabba to launch in France

Lagardére Active TV channels picks up Zodiak Rights property.

Zodiak Rights has licensed kids television hit Yo Gabba Gabba in France to Lagardére Active's TV channels.

The first pay TV pre-school channel TIJI and DTT channel Gulli have both taken 26 episodes.

TIJI will broadcast the show at the end of 2010, with Gulli airing episodes in 2012 in its dedicated pre-school slot, GulliDoo.

In addition, the Yo Gabba Gabba live tour has gained S2BN Entertainment as an international partner. The live show is currently playing in over 60 cities across North America and will expand to play in territories outside of this market shortly.

"We are very excited to be working with the S2BN Entertainment and Wildbrain teams to bring this very successful family entertainment production to Europe," said Angeles Blanco, head of international licensing at Zodiak Rights. "Yo Gabba Gabba is the hippest kids programme around and the live show offers kids and parents the experience to see their favourite characters come to life."

Zodiak Rights is also developing licensing programmes in Australia, Latin America and Asia.
