RSPCA's pet bedding provides animal welfare boost

Deal with CP Designs Asia has already earned the charity more than £450,000.
RSPCA has highlighted the success of its pet bedding deal with CP Designs Asia.
Since the deal was made in 2005 CP’ has gone on to become one of the major players in the global pet bedding and accessories market and the license has bought in more than £450,000, which has gone towards helping the society’s work improving animal welfare and caring for the many animals waiting to be re-homed in RSPCA centres.
RSPCA licensing manager Cathy Snow said: “Not only does CP Designs offer a range of products in fabrics that pets adore, and that are safe and washable, but it is a strong contributor to the funding of our work. The company has been a valued partner of the RSPCA for many years and we are grateful for its continuing support.”
RSPCA added that its partnership with CP Designs has played a significant part in the growth of the RSPCA brand, helping the charity make ‘strong inroads as a trusted and high quality brand in a number of categories.’
The charity's licensing department is now looking at, or has already signed, deals in apparel, giftware, toys, housewares, stationery, publishing, pet food, wild animal food and pet accessories.
The beds and accessories are on sale in Argos, TK Maxx and Pets at Home.
