Firm acquires rights to 3D feature length film from Italian studio Rainbow S.p.A.
Brand management and media specialist m4e AG has acquired the rights to the film Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom from Italian production studio Rainbow S.p.A.
The 3D animated adventure, which is based on the TV series Winx Club, will arrive in German cinemas on September 4th.
m4e will be supported by Munich film agency 24 Bilder on the launch of the film.
The 95-minute film is produced by Rainbow founder Iginio Straffi and ties its story into the plot of the second season of the TV series.
As well as a strong line-up of coverage on TV and with print, PR and promotional campaigns, m4e is looking to bolster the Winx Club licensing programme. In addition to existing licensing partners for the TV show, other partners to support the movie debut have already been secured.
Key licensing partners include Mattel, Panini, Ferrero, Tex-Ass, Blue Ocean, Ravensburger, BIP and Upper Deck.
