PRE-SCHOOL MONTH: Dora line expands with new digi photo frames

In Phase International to produce branded electronics products.

Nickelodeon UK has awarded a licence to In Phase International to design and produce Dora the Explorer branded digital photo frames.

The brightly coloured frames, measuring 255mm wide x 190.4mm high, and featuring images of Dora on the left of the frame and Boots the Monkey on the right, can be used by children or parents to 'play' their own photos.

An SD Card, MDXD Card or a USB is needed. Between plays of their own photos, the Dora Digital Photo Frame displays images of Dora and her companions.

Aimed at children aged three and up, the frames will be available from this summer.

"A digital picture frame is a simple, attractive and effective means of sharing digital photos," said Gary Digva, company director of In Phase. "We are certain children will love a product that combines both their own photos and images of their favourite television character."

Ashley Holman, UK licensing manager at Nickelodeon, added: "The growing popularity of digital picture frames and the increasing preference for digital photography make them perfect presents for all age groups - and these delightful Dora the Explorer frames bring fun to photo display."
