Fremantle ties with WeeWorld

Strategic partnership extends visibility of growing interactive avatar community.
Interactive avatar community WeeWorld is teaming up with FremantleMedia Enterprises in a deal which will see FME developing licensing products to support the WeeWorld brand and its avatar, the WeeMee.
As part of the agreement, FME will use its assets to provide a personalised experience to engage consumers. FME will manage the licensing of the brand across a wide range of categories including colllectibles, apparel, home, toys and gifts.
"WeeWorld is one of ths most exciting interactive properties around, and it is an ideal partner for FME," said David Lunar, SVP of interactive and consumer at FME.
"We recognise WeeWorld as the leader in the space because of its large footprint in the digital entertainment industry and devoted global fan base of more than 23 million WeeMees worldwide."
