Monopoly gets the movie treatment

According to a story in The Hollywood Reporter, the Gladiator director is officially at the helm of the project and is considering giving it a futuristic sheen along the lines of his iconic film, Blade Runner.

Pamela Pettler will write the screenplay and Scott has been mentioned as a possible director.
